Clover the Guinea Pig

     On Friday, I took home the class pet Clover.  He is a guinea pig.  This was my first time to take Clover home.  I waited many months to take him home.  When the teacher said it was my turn, I was so excited!  Everyday, I fed him carrots, lettuce, spinach, hay, and pellets.  All he did was eat...all day long.  When he was hungry, he would squeak and stand up on his hind legs, begging for food.  As soon as I would give him food, he would crawl into his castle to eat it. Sometimes I tried to pet Clover in his cage, but he was too fast and squirmy!  When my dad cleaned his cage, he put him in a box, and I was able to pet his soft fur.  My favorite part about Clover was feeding him and making him happy.

Legoland Hotel

I went to Legoland Hotel on Valentine's Day.  There are 3 themed rooms: Adventure, Kingdom, and Pirate. I stayed in the Adventure-themed room.  It had a bunk bed and two tv's!  It was fun!  The room had a treasure box.  I had to answer 4 questions to get the code to open the lock on the treasure box. Inside were 2 Lego Mini-Me figures, a magazine, and chocolate coins.  At night, we watched the Olympics and played video games on Daddy's tablet.  The next day, we got to go to Legoland Park early because we stayed at the hotel.  It was a special day because my friend Sophie was meeting us there.  We rode on many rides together.  The best ride we rode together was the Coastersaurus.  It was my first rollercoaster ride at Legoland!  I screamed when it went really fast!  Daddy said it was faster than Lego Technic!  I had a great time with my friend and my family!
